Zapytana jakiś czas temu przez koleżankę "co teraz jest modne, bo nie wiem co powinnam kupić?" usiadłam zmieszana, zawiesiłam się i biedna moja towarzyszka przez kilka minut zastanawiała się, czy nie trzeba by wezwać karetki. Kierując się zasadą "jak nie wiesz co odpowiedzieć porozmawiaj o pogodzie" wydusiłam z siebie tylko niepewnie "Hmm, ale słońce świeci, idziemy na spacer?" i pomaszerowałam przed siebie. Jednak zawsze kiedy zastanawiam się nad tym jednym z najczęściej zadawanych mi przez ludzi z otoczenia pytaniem (wszyscy wiedzą, że potrafię zamknąć się w małej garderobie o wymiarach 1 x 2 m, najlepiej z nowym wydaniem Harper's Bazaar (na Vogue pozwalam sobie tylko w Empiku) i lodami kawowymi, i przesiedzieć tak cały dzień, porównując ubrania z profesjonalnych edytoriali z moimi) mimowolnie się wzdrygam. Należałoby raczej zadać pytanie "Co teraz NIE JEST modne?". Jeśli miałabym podać największe dokonanie blogosfery modowej, bez wątpienia uznałabym, że jest to próbowanie coraz większej ilości nastolatków (i nie tylko) do podążania za... no właśnie. Czy za sobą, czy za trendami? Ośmielę się stwierdzić, że obecnie bardziej "modne" jest zapewnienie, że zamiast śledzić pokazy i to, co dzieje się na wybiegach, preferujemy podążanie za własnym, unikalnym stylem. Jedna z moich największych zasad (którą zawsze powtarzam sobie patrząc na niektórych przechodniów) to stwierdzenie, że każdy jest ubrany modnie, na swój osobisty i unikatowy sposób. Nie ważne czy wolisz spodnie czy spódniczki, nie ważne czy wszystko masz czarne czy tryskasz kolorami. Ważne, że znajdujesz w tym siebie. 

Some time ago my friend asked me "what is in fashion now?" and I, after a quick thought, sat on the ground and didn't say anything for a few minutes. She started to think that we have to call for an ambulance or something because I was looking like a dead person, so I suddenly changed a subject in the most stupid way ever "Let's just go for a walk, the weather is so beutiful!" and I was gone, so was the conversation. Although I didn't want to answer her then, I had to spare a thought for that burning issue here. Every time some of my friends or family (they all know that I am able to lock in my little (1 x 2 meteres ) closet with the newest Harper's Bazaar issue (Vogue is only avaliable for me in the newsagent's) and a box of coffe ice cream and sit there, trying to make the outfits of the collections with my own clothes) asks me about trends and all that stuff I feel strange. I think we should all ask "Is there anything that ISN'T in fashion now?". I think not. This is one of the fashion blogging's achievements, but yes, I am really pleased with the rising amount of young (and not only young) people trying to find their own style. I can even claim that we are all bored with those 'fashionable' pieces changing every month, aren't we? One of my top rudiments is that everybody looks fashionable in his own and unique way. Everyone has another sense of taste and likes diffrent things. So here comes my another rule - We should accept everyone in the way he is, he likes to be and wants to be. 

Dlaczego tak nagle znowu poruszyłam temat trendów? Skłoniła mnie do tego obecna w dzisiejszym zestawie panterka. Pamiętam, ah pamiętam, jak zaklinałam się, że nigdy jej nie założę, że nie lubię, że ten wzór nie jest dla mnie i wybierałam zebrę. Teraz uwielbiam te nieregularne łatki, obecne zarówno na bluzce jak i na okularach. No właśnie, nie przypominam sobie, żeby panterka kiedykolwiek wyszła z mody. Albo dżins. Lub biel latem. Widzicie? Jednak o tym co modne nie stanowi tylko Karl Lagerfeld, ale też my sami.

Why did I spoke about trends again? I thought about it while editing my pictures to that post, because of that pantera print on my top and sunglasses. I can't think of any time that those wild spots weren't in fashion. Or denim. Or even white colour in summer. See? Not only Karl Lagerfeld is making things fashionable, we also are!
