Stella McCartney Resort 2015

Kolekcje resort może nie należą do moich ulubionych - w końcu nie jest to wiodące Ready-To-Wear, ani oglądane przeze mnie z wypiekami na twarzy haute couture (kiedyś pisałam o tym, jak bardzo lubię oglądać te projekty stworzone dla celebrytów, głównie na czerwony dywan, niedostępność i nieosiągalność czyni je jeszcze bardziej pożądanymi, a jakość i technika wykonania utwierdza mnie w przekonaniu, że moda to najwyższa forma sztuki). Resort, nazywane też niekiedy kolekcjami "cruise" (ang. rejs) to najczęściej prezentacje będące zapowiedzią koncepcji projektanta na przyszły sezon, ale też okazja do egzotycznych podróży (pokaz Chanel odbył się w tym roku w Dubaju, a Nicolas Ghesquière zaprosił nas (no, może nie dosłownie NAS) do Monaco razem z świetną kolekcją dla Louis Vuitton). Przygotowane z myślą o bogaczach rządnych nowości na wakacje, często są intrygującą możliwością poznania marki lepiej. A Stella McCartney mnie zaskoczyła. Nawet jeśli nie śledzicie nowinek, to możecie przyjąć do wiadomości, że to jej zawdzięczaliśmy modę na płaszcz w kratkę tej zimy (znana podróbka z Topshopu), damski, granatowy garnitur w wąskie, jasne paski (podobny dostępny był w Zarze), a także moje ulubione buty na traperowanych platformach. Stella przed prezentacją radośnie obwieściła dziennikarzom, że inspiracją byli jej.. rodzice. I że moda to zabawa, a ona miała ochotę stworzyć coś innego. Udało jej się, spodziewałam się jednolitych barw i ostrych cięć, zobaczyłam egzotyczne nadruki i idealną formę kompletu (wyżej, po prawej) z bluzką z wycięciem i spodniami w kant. Stella pozostaje wierna platformom i pokazuje jak powinny wyglądać wygodne, letnie buty (jedynie te koturny z dziurką w środku mnie nie zachwyciły; cóż, nie mi oceniać). Jak Wam się podoba?

Resort collection always seem so interesting and temting to see right away. Those mid-season presentations are, of course, aimed at glamorous and wealthy people, quite bored with the clothes sold in the specific season time, yet willing to go for some holidays in new outfits. There are some must-see shows, like Chanel or Louis Vuitton (which took place in breathtaking Monaco, well, Nicolas Ghesquière is doing his job so well!) but still I like to search for some pieces which mainly represent the path the designer will follow this season. Sipping my afternoon coffe and listening to The Neighbourhood, I spotted some pictures taken in New York few days ago at Stella McCartney's presentation. Even if you don't usually look at the collections or you don't know who she is - well, she's the reason why checkered coats were so IN this winter, we all loved thight stripes on dark blue women-suits and those platform shoes. Now, she made a step. I always expect her collections to be original, amazing but still rather two-toned, not particularly many colours of prints. And here she made a surprise, smiling to the journalists and telling them about her parents' inspiration to the collection. I loved the easy way she presented a whole new concept, yet the structure of the cut-out tops and pants, but not really the prints. How do you like it?

I can please only one person each day // ugly shoes

Skinny jeans, a t-shirt and the most comfortable shoes possible, sounds easy, huh? Well, you know how I love doing everything my way, combining with easy-to-wear pieces and bring something fresh to every outfit. Because, as I once wrote, I can't see the point in creating a fashion blog, a fashion place which is supposed to inspire people in a.. well, boring way, as many of the blogs actually are. I'm not saying here there should be fireworks, balloons, colours and fancy dresses in every post, but bloggers are expected to make headway all the time. Coming back to my outfit and the pictures we took when it was still raining (no matter what, the blog is the most important, right?!) I felt great wearing it to school, no need to suffer from pinching high heels or uncomfortable dress. I found that T-shirt in a second-hand some time ago, a great little treasure which I'm really happy to own (I just realised there's no picture showing you the actual sign on it. It says "I can please only one person each day. Today is not your day. Tommorow doesn't look good either". Simple as it is!). And about the shoes.. well, you may hate me now and delete my blog from your reading list forever, or you may admit that they kind of look cool, don't they? Believe me, a year ago I would be.. hmm.. maybe I wouldn't say that they look awful, cause I've learnt in my life that in fashion nothing like 'ugly' exists, it just depends on your style and the current society's craving, but I wasn't eager to get myself a pair. Few weeks ago my mum (who is the bigges fashion ignorant in the world. Honestly, she never minds what is in fashion now, or then, she just buys whatever she likes and, I must add, that's GREAT!) bought those leather ones - they're in my opinion diffrent than the others, since they have just one strap and no buckles. They're, indeed, comfortable and look perfect added to outfits like this. What do you think?

Stubborn mind

Zazwyczaj kiedy poświęcam się marnowaniu swojego życia na Tumblr (możecie śledzić mnie tutaj) najwięcej zdjęć, które rebloguję to różne fotografie mody ulicznej, zrobione ludziom w ruchu. I takie właśnie zdjęcia zazwyczaj chcę przygotowywać na bloga ("to ja sobie przejdę, pobiegam, poskaczę, a ty rób zdjęcia" jako wyznacznik zamysłu na każdą sesję). W moim mieście jest jedna taka ulica, którą uwielbiam spacerować (i jeszcze bardziej uwielbiam zatrzymywać te momenty na fotografiach). Warszawska wygląda jak z poprzedniego stulecia, ale w wielu miejscach ściera się modernistyczna architektura ze starymi kamienicami. Podczas przygotowywania ubrań do tych zdjęć wiedziałam, że muszą odbyć się właśnie tam. Najlepiej na przejściu dla pieszych, czyli moim absolutnie ulubionym tle. Nie mam pojęcia, kto ustala rozmiarówkę w sklepach internetowych, wiem tylko, że czasami jeden rozmiar potrafi być za mały, a kolejnym razem wyglądać jak szyty na słonia. Ta sukienka to przedstawicielka drugiej opcji; za luźna, koniec końców przeze mnie zaakceptowana jako wygodna, letnia alternatywa dla shortów. A do butów chyba już przywykliście? ;)

Usually when I'm wasting my life on tumblr (don't forget you can follow me there by clicking here!) I give the most of reblogs for streetstyle pictures, taken for girls rushing somewhere in the city centre (models mostly, they're the most beautiful girls indeed). There is one place in my town which looks as if it was saved from the last century but, at the same time, there are the most modern architecture pieces noticable in my area. I love walking there with my friends, simply because I prefer crowded plases to parks and woods (these are perfect for jogging). When I created this comfortable yet original look I knew we have to shoot it there. Of course people were staring at me all the time, sometimes laughing, sometimes shouting, but well, I'm used to that. The dress was bought in my favourite online shop but I got it a little bit too big (I don't know who creates all those sizes, once they're too small and the other time they look as if they were 2 times too big). As long as it was really baggy I thought it looks like a diamod boyfriend's shirt and added my favourite shoes of the moment (which I'm going to wear through all summer so you better get use to them). The plastic bracelet was just the thing missing in the outfit, so I put it on and went for a crazy run in my town (if only there was one day when I could just sit and breathe and eat and sleep and.. oh, you know what? I don't want it. I like doing my utmost and bending over backwards. This is just who I am).
